I chose to display this page because of the patterns on the bird's body. I made it that way to represent feathers. Also the white of the moon goes nicely with the blue of the sky. To make this drawing I just used some sharpies, crayons, and watercolors. I used a variety of colors instead of just brown for the owl so it would stand out more. The patterns are constant and so are the colors. I also added texture to the tree so it looked real compared to the cartoonish looking owl. This page was a whole lot cleaner than the other ones, on the other ones I was trying new things out.

I chose this page because I liked the different patterns in each of the curved tear drop shapes. I mostly used a pencil to make lighter and darker shades. I also used chalk pastels to color the four in the middle with. It's about pattern and how even though all the insides are different the outsides are all the same shape and they can work in perfect harmony. I just like the colors, shape, and different patterns. I guess an improvement would be that it is cleaner and more refined with small details.
